Programs
Ontario Curriculum requirements will be met through active theme-based learning. Children working on the same topic may approach the curriculum through their own learning style at their level. Assessment of learning style will be observational unless formal assessment is requested by the parents. Progress reports will be provided to parents each term.
Day School: Grades 1 to 12
Children are taught in small groups by specialized teachers. The English program is supplemented with core French. The ratios that are maintained at Astolot are 6:1 in the primary grades, 10:1 in the junior grades, 12:1 in the intermediate grades, and 5:1 for high school.
At Astolot, the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum is followed. Each child will work at their own pace in the learning style which suits them best. Prospective students are welcome to spend a day at Astolot to experience the richness our program has to offer.
For the 2011-2012 school year, tuition is $10,000 for students in grades 1 through 8, and $12,500 for high school students.
Tutoring assessments are also available.
